The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy going personality. A customer-oriented approach is essential. The goal is to make patients feel comfortable and valued while on our premises. Ideal for the applicant have prior experience in a medical environment. Salary is commensurate with experience. Responsibilities of this job include, but are not limited to: Greet patients while providing excellent customer service Answer the phone, take messages, and redirect calls to appropriate offices and/or staff Organize and maintain files and medical records Answer patient related questions from staff and providers through an electronic medical records program Oversee sorting and distribution of incoming mail Prepare outgoing mail Operate office equipment, such as copier, printers, etc. Perform inventory of office supplies and order what is needed Front Office Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Successful work experience in a front office setting or in another clerical position Strong working knowledge of office procedures Ability to effectively use office equipment Outstanding communication skills Great organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent typing skills a plus
