Job Overview Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Veterinary Receptionist, where your energetic and compassionate approach will be the first point of contact for pet owners and their beloved animals. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, coordinate appointments, and facilitate seamless communication between clients and veterinary staff. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help create a welcoming environment that promotes exceptional pet care and client satisfaction. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team committed to animal health and well-being. Duties Greet clients warmly, answer inquiries, and schedule appointments efficiently using veterinary software and process payments. Assist with animal handling and kennel cleaning. Communicate effectively with clients about pet care instructions, treatment plans, and follow-up appointments, demonstrating excellent customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and veterinary software systems for scheduling, record keeping, and billing. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration; customer service orientation is essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail; previous experience would be helpful but not required.
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 per week
