Job Description
Overview Nehring Auto is a small family-owned business that has been open for 17 years. We're looking to hire for a Front Desk Receptionist position, where you'll be the friendly face and first point of contact for our valued customers. This is a part-time position with the potential to grow into a full-time role. It offers the opportunity to showcase your exceptional customer service skills, organizational talent, and ability to multitask under pressure. You will manage front desk operations, handle incoming calls, and support daily administrative tasks to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for everyone who walks through our doors. If you enjoy providing a positive customer experience in a dynamic work environment, this position is for you! Duties Greet customers warmly and professionally as they arrive or call, providing excellent customer support and assistance Answer general customer inquiries and refer more extensive inquiries to the appropriate person Communicate messages to all appropriate parties in a timely manner Handle appointment scheduling, calendar management, and follow-up communications to keep the service flow seamless Maintain a clean, organized front desk area and manage online filing systems Upkeep of physical and online inventory (including vehicles, cleaning materials and office supplies) Skills Needed Customer service experience (preferred but not required) Basic mathematical aptitude and cash handling experience Ability to follow a daily checklist Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a dynamic setting Ability to work independently with strong time management skills and attention to detail Problem-solver with outstanding decision-making skills Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word Confident phone etiquette with experience providing information to callers, answering questions, and taking thorough messages as needed Join us in creating a welcoming environment where customers feel supported from the moment they walk through the door!
