Job Description

The law office of Oostra, Bierma, Van Engen & Mouw P.L.C. is looking for a confident and reliable person to fill a full-time Receptionist/Administrative Assistant Position. Prospective applicants should possess and demonstrate the following: well-developed communication skills (written and verbal), self-motivation, attention to detail, organization, excellent proofreading and typing skills, ability to follow instructions without difficulty, and have a serious work ethic. Duties of this position include answering phones, scheduling client appointments, helping to prepare real estate documents, ordering office supplies, along with a variety of other tasks. Pay will be based off experience and benefits will be available for the hired applicant. Sixth Street NW Sioux Center, IA 51250 Responsibilities Provide administrative support to one or more lawyers Effectively communicate with clients, colleagues and partners Greet visitors and clients Produce and file various legal documents Preserve an updated file system Answer phone calls, take notes/messages and redirect calls when appropriate Maintain and update supply inventory Facilitate the meeting of deadlines by keeping multiple agendas and provide timely reminders Skills Experience preferred as secretary but will train the right candidate Proficiency in English Outstanding time-management and typing skills Ability to multitask and being comfortable dealing with a diverse pool of people
