Type:

full-time We are looking for an outgoing, personable, and highly organized Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our shop. This position is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys talking with people, has a positive attitude, and can quickly read a situation and determine what needs to be handled first. Our front desk can get busy, with phones ringing, customers arriving, consultations happening, and multiple tasks needing attention at the same time. We are looking for someone who can multitask efficiently, think quickly on their feet, and stay calm and professional in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with scheduling and appointment-related questions. Confirm appointments with customers the day before to help prevent last-minute cancellations, no-shows, and large gaps in the schedule. Greet and assist customers when they arrive and provide a friendly, welcoming experience, including providing drinks to customers who are waiting or accompanying friends/family. Assist customers with consultations both over the phone and in person by communicating clearly with customers and help determine the best way to assist them based on their needs. Monitor the schedule and proactively identify opportunities to fill openings or prevent unnecessary gaps. Receive and organize color deliveries and double-check packages to ensure all ordered materials have arrived correctly and completely. Keep the front desk and customer areas organized and presentable. Balance customer service, phone calls, scheduling, consultations, and administrative responsibilities throughout the day while executing various day-to-day tasks that keep the front run smoothly. What We're Looking For Outgoing and personable

  • you enjoy talking to people and making customers feel comfortable and welcome. Quick-thinking
  • you can assess a situation quickly and figure out what needs your attention first. Strong multitasker
  • you can handle a ringing phone, a customer at the front desk, and another task at the same time while remaining organized. Highly attentive to detail
  • especially when handling appointments, orders, deliveries, and customer information. Proactive
  • you don't always wait to be told what needs to be done; you notice what needs attention and take care of it. Calm under pressure
  • you can stay friendly and professional even when the front desk becomes busy or several things are happening at once. Strong communicator
  • you are comfortable speaking with customers in person and over the phone. Reliable and responsible
  • you understand that the receptionist plays an important role in keeping the entire shop running efficiently. Customer-service oriented
  • you genuinely care about creating a positive experience for every customer who walks through the door.

The ideal candidate is someone who can walk into a busy situation, quickly figure out what needs to happen, and handle it without needing constant direction. You should enjoy interacting with people, but also be comfortable switching between customer service, phone calls, scheduling, organization, and behind-the-scenes tasks throughout the day. If you are someone who is friendly, energetic, observant, organized, and able to think on your feet, this could be a great fit for you.
