Job Description
Company Overview Spee Dee Delivery is a family owned and operated company that was started in 1978 by Donald and Sylvia Weeres. Our core business is in standard, next-day, ground delivery. The corporate headquarters and main sort facility is located in St. Cloud, MN. We currently employ over 1,800 employees company wide and over the years have expanded throughout the Midwest. Job Summary The Hub Receptionist will answer incoming calls, greet guests and applicants, and portray a professional image of the company to the general public. Hours and Wages Monday-Friday, 10:00AM-3:00PM shift $18.00-$20.00 per hour, based on experience Duties and Responsibilities Direct all incoming calls to the correct department or individual Take messages for appropriate department or individual as needed Greet and assist visitors and applicants in a professional and friendly manner Open and close the front lobby Assist with customers at the walk-in counter Sort and file various paperwork for departments Light cleaning duties of the front lobby and office areas to keep a clean and neat appearance Update the phone directory as needed Perform other related duties as assigned Skills and Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to use critical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to multi-task and handle a large call volume Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Professional attitude and appearance Education and Experience At least 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous reception, clerical, or administrative experience preferred Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and answering the phone Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times Benefits Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off (PTO), Employee Assistance Program, 401(k) Plan, Quarterly Bonuses, and more.
