Job Description
Receptionist Position Overview Are you someone who is able to remain focused and calm in a busy setting. Do you like juggling tasks and working with people throughout the day? Do you love the veterinary industry as much as we do? Location Northbrook Animal Clinic is located in Northbrook, Illinois about 20 minutes north of Chicago. There are so many local activities to enjoy including Lake Michigan, shopping centers, Chicago Botanic Garden, and Techny Prairie parks. You can also get away to the city or take a trip from O'hare airport just 20 minutes away. Practice Overview Northbrook Animal Clinic is a privately owned practice that has been proudly serving the North Shore area since 1985. We are proud of the relationships we have built with generations of families in our community. Our team collaborates to deliver high quality service with compassionate care. We strongly believe in work-life balance. We only allow our staff to work 40 hours maximum a week, and make sure to schedule time during business hours for urgent appointments. Our team incorporates our motto of "Pawsitivity" to establish successful working relationships between each other and our clients. What You'll Be Working On Greet clients, answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries Schedule appointments and setup new clients and patients; monitor daily schedule and flow Able to convert cold calls and warm leads into new client visits Responsible for payment processing and ensuring accurate client medical records Exhibit attentiveness, patience and compassion while working with clients and patients in various emotional states Assist in cleaning the clinic, which includes ensuring the reception area is stocked, clean and welcoming Manage incoming texts, faxes, emails, and online pharmacy requests Opportunity to progress into a management role.
