Must be computer literate, excellent working knowledge of all pertinent software, such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.). Excellent communication and customer service skills are required during interaction with both internal and external professionals of all levels on a daily basis. Ability to multitask. Must be able to lift up to 30lbs. Must be neat, organized, and keep a clean workspace.
Receptionist Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Receptionist position is to welcome and properly direct office walk-in visitors and callers to their proper destination. The job responsibilities include reception and timely mail distribution, as well as maintaining office directories.
Receptionist Job Duties:
Demonstrates positive customer service with office visitors and callers. Displays flexibility, team spirit, compassion, respect, honesty, politeness and accountability. Operate company multi-line telephone console, dispatching calls, and taking messages.
Handling duties to include:
screening front door visitors, signing for special deliveries and pickups. Provides daily clerical duties as required, which may include faxing and scanning copies, prepare overnight packages, and other mail services. Distributes, sorts, and collects mail. Assists with Accounts Payable, when necessary. Composes and processed routine e-mail correspondence. Assists in data entry, as required. Feed fish in various areas of the office.
