Job Description

The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for customers, vendors, and visitors at Becker Iron & Metal. This role is responsible for providing professional front-desk support, managing phone communications, assisting with administrative tasks, and ensuring a positive customer experience. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist customers, vendors, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner. Answer and direct incoming phone calls to appropriate departments. Provide basic information regarding pricing, procedures, and company services. Process customer transactions and payments accurately (cash, check, credit/debit). Issue receipts and maintain transaction records. Maintain customer logs and update internal systems as needed. Perform general administrative duties (filing, scanning, copying, data entry). Monitor office supplies and assist with ordering when necessary. Maintain a clean and organized front office area. Support management and other staff with clerical tasks as assigned.
