Job Description

Veterinary Receptionist Duties:
  • Greet and welcome clients and their pets to the veterinary clinic
  • Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
  • Collect and update patient information in the computer system
  • Assist with filling out necessary paperwork and forms
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
  • Assist with handling payments and processing invoices
  • Coordinate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth workflow
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred
  • Knowledge of basic animal care and veterinary terminology is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software applications
