POSTION SUMMARY
Receptionist provides excellent customer service to guests, crew members, internal and external customers and directs them in a professional manner. Receives and deliver packages from delivery services, managers the main switchboard and conference room facilities, receives mail, sorts and distributes in a timely manner, assists the office manager and the crew network in various administrative tasks. The Receptionist will also assist with boat show preparation and work during all local boat shows as necessary.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
(not limited to): Managers the telephone and reception duties in a professional manner. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients. Responsible for scheduling and maintenance of all conference room facilities. Responsible for mail distribution in a timely manner. Support the Office Manager with administrative duties as assigned. Assist TCN with crew member information, creating profiles, answering emails, reference checks, and uploading documents etc. inventory of break room and office supplies and replenish/order as necessary. Assist with Boat show preparation, tickets, transportation etc. Work during all local boat shows.
JOB ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Excellent communicator in verbal and written English; A second languages is a plus. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook. Good at multi-tasking and prioritization of duties and responsibilities. Service-oriented, dynamic with a smart appearance. Minimum of one year of administrative experience preferably dealing with high profile clients. Marine Industry experience preferred. High school graduate or equivalent.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL ABILITIES
Work is conducted most often indoors in an air-conditioned office environment. Local travel may be required. Utilization of standard office equipment is used in the working environment. Motor skills and senses needed to carry out duties include sitting, talking, listening, typing, writing, visual inspection of documents and spaces. Lifting, pushing, walking, and climbing stairs on boats and small spaces. Occasionally moves, transports, positions, and removes equipment weighing up to 30 pounds in office and during boat shows when needed.
