Job Description
This position pays $17.00-$20.00 per hour Receptionist and clerical support for Anderson Administration Duties and responsibilities: Receptionist and switchboard operator providing information and guidance to callers, visitors. students, faculty and staff Provides administrative support for Vice Chancellor for Enrollment and Student success including filing, document preparation, computerized reports, projects and other activities as assigned Follow confidential information policies and standards Message liaison between faculty and students as needed Serve on committees as assigned Organize reception area for next day's operation Follow all college policies and procedures Assist with special events, meetings and maintain supply inventory Assist/troubleshoot copiers, postage machine, fax machine and phones Provide clerical support and assist with activities as assigned Coordinate communication between daytime and evening faculty and staff Responsible for contacting Security for student and employee safety concerns Serve as backup support for faculty area receptionist or for special needs
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED Good typing and computer skills - Microsoft Office software package Excellent organizational, communications, human relations, and self-directed work skills within a team environment Knowledge of switchboard operations and telephone etiquettePreferred Qualifications:
