This is a full-time position working four 10-hour shifts per week. Weekend availability is required, and the schedule varies from week to week. What We're Looking For A genuine love and concern for the wellbeing of pets Minimum 3 years of office, receptionist, or front desk experience Extremely high attention to detail and accuracy Superb attendance and dependability Willing and able to work weekends Excellent communication skills and the ability to promptly communicate important information to all staff Friendly, professional, and confident when working with clients Comfortable with sales, recommending services, and helping grow the business Willing and able to be on your feet most of the day Willing to assist clients and their pets entering and exiting the resort Able to multitask and stay organized in a busy, fast-paced environment Self-motivated and able to stay busy and productive during slower periods without needing constant direction Previous hospitality customer service or pet industry experience is a plus What We're NOT Looking For Someone who needs every weekend off Someone looking for a typical sit-at-a-desk receptionist job Someone who needs to bring their own pet to work every day Someone who is simply looking for a job rather than someone who truly cares about animals and enjoys working with pets Someone who struggles with details, organization, or follow-through Someone with unreliable attendance or frequent last-minute absences The Position Our Resort Services Representatives are responsible for providing exceptional client service while managing reservations, phone calls, texts, emails, check-ins and check-outs, payments, records, daily reports, and other front desk responsibilities. You'll also play an important role in communicating with our resort team and utilizing sales and marketing skills to increase sales.
