Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality bathing and grooming services to pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the process. As a Pet Bather, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive experience for both pets and their owners while maintaining a clean and safe environment. Duties Bathe and groom pets according to breed standards and owner preferences. Safely handle and restrain animals during grooming procedures. Inspect pets for any skin conditions, parasites, or abnormalities, reporting findings to the veterinarian or pet owners as necessary. Maintain cleanliness of grooming areas, equipment, and supplies. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets' needs and grooming requirements. Assist with drying, brushing, and styling of pets post-bath. Ensure all animals are treated with kindness and respect throughout the grooming process. Support team members with additional tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications Previous experience in pet grooming or animal handling is preferred but not required. Knowledge of animal care practices, including basic grooming techniques. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners. Ability to lift heavy animals safely and perform physical tasks associated with grooming. Familiarity with animal restraint techniques to ensure safety during grooming sessions. Passion for working with animals and commitment to their well-being. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
