Job Description
Summary/Objective This position is responsible for answering the phone, directing customers and traffic, and assisting with customers with multiple needs while maintaining camaraderie with co-workers in a fast-paced professional environment as needed. This person will need to possess excellent telephone etiquette, ability to think quickly, and knowledge of the community and customers. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1. Greet and welcome customers into the bank. 2. Direct foot traffic in the Atchison branch location. 3. Manage the phone lines throughout the day and channel calls to the appropriate staff members. 4. Answers basic customer questions including questions regarding interest rates, services offered, service charges, and providing account histories while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations and consumer privacy policies. 5. Follows all bank policies and procedures. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and open filing cabinets. This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary.
