Job Overview Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Veterinary Receptionist, where you will be the welcoming face and organized coordinator of our animal care facility. Duties Greet clients warmly and assist them with check-in, check-out, and appointment scheduling to ensure a smooth flow of patient visits Handle medical collections accurately, including processing payments and insurance claims with transparency and professionalism Manage phone inquiries, providing clear information about services, appointments, and pet care advice Maintain organized records of patient histories, treatment plans, laboratory results, and billing details Support kennel operations by coordinating animal intake and discharge procedures, ensuring proper animal husbandry practices are followed Assist veterinary staff with animal restraint during examinations or treatments using appropriate techniques for different species and sizes Facilitate laboratory processes such as sample collection or processing to support diagnostic testing and veterinary critical care Skills Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and restraint techniques for dogs, cats, horses, and other species Experience with pet grooming, pet care, and animal handling to effectively support client needs and animal comfort Familiarity with aseptic techniques and laboratory procedures to ensure safe sample handling and testing accuracy Excellent communication skills for explaining procedures clearly to pet owners and team members alike Background in kennel management or animal husbandry enhances your ability to support daily animal care routines Knowledge of veterinary critical care practices helps in understanding urgent situations requiring immediate attention Join us in creating a welcoming environment where animals receive compassionate care and clients feel confident in our expertise.
