Expected Hours:
Approximately 1-5 hours per week to start, with potential for additional hours as the practice continues to grow.

Must be available during daytime business hours (school hours). About Us Kentucky Language & Literacy Center and Days with Dyslexia are growing! We are looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Administrative Assistant to help keep our clinic running smoothly while creating a welcoming experience for the families we serve. Our practice specializes in helping children with dyslexia, dysgraphia, and other language-based literacy challenges. Every member of our team plays an important role in supporting children and their families. If you enjoy working with people, thrive on organization, and love keeping things running efficiently, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities As our Administrative Assistant, you'll help manage the daily operations of our office by: Greet families, visitors, and vendors with professionalism and warmth Answer emails and respond to general inquiries Schedule appointments and assist with calendar management Maintain accurate client records and perform data entry Organize digital and paper files Assist with office supply inventory and ordering materials Support basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks (training provided) Package and ship educational products Perform light cleaning to help maintain a professional office environment Provide administrative support for special projects as needed Qualifications We're looking for someone who is: Organized and highly detail-oriented Friendly, dependable, and professional Able to multitask and work independently A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal English skills Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace Comfortable learning new software and technology Previous administrative or clerical experience is preferred but not required Experience with QuickBooks is a plus but not required Physical Requirements Ability to perform light cleaning tasks Ability to package and move products weighing up to 5 pounds Why Join Our Team?
