Interested candidates must be willing to travel to primary care medical offices located in Shepherdsville, Lebanon, Bardstown, Brandenburg, and Louisville, Kentucky and Jeffersonville, Indiana. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive support. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical administrative support and clinical assistance, demonstrating flexibility, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. As a Float MA/Receptionist, you will serve as a vital link between patients and providers, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service in a dynamic healthcare environment. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and efficiently manage check-in and check-out procedures using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. Assist with patient intake by collecting blood and urine, vital signs, medical histories, and updating medical records accurately. Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and follow-up communications to optimize clinic flow. Maintain organized documentation of medical records. Prepare examination rooms by sterilizing equipment, restocking supplies, and ensuring a clean environment for patient visits. Qualifications Prior experience in medical office settings with knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices. Hands-on clinical skills including phlebotomy, vital signs measurement, medication administration, and basic physiology knowledge. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced outpatient or inpatient settings. Excellent communication skills focused on delivering compassionate patient service while maintaining professionalism. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent is preferred; additional certifications in medical assisting are a plus.
