Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Receptionist/Scheduler to join our dental team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a seamless experience throughout their care journey. You will manage patient appointments, facilitate communication between patients and providers, and maintain accurate records. Your expertise in medical/dental terminology and administrative support will be essential in providing high-quality care and service. Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing information about services. Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring optimal use of clinic resources. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans. Assist with insurance verification and billing processes as needed. Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and follow-up appointments. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards within the medical or dental office setting. Provide administrative support to the dental care team, including managing correspondence and filing documents. Educate patients on procedures, treatments, and follow-up care as necessary. Skills Proficiency in medical/dental terminology to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals. Experience in dental/medical administrative support within a dental/medical office environment is highly preferred. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a patient-centered focus. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
