Job Overview Join our dynamic veterinary team as a Veterinary Receptionist, where your energetic and compassionate approach will be the first point of contact for pet owners and their beloved animals. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, coordinate appointments, and ensure a smooth flow of communication between clients, veterinary staff, and external partners. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help create a welcoming environment that promotes exceptional pet care and client satisfaction. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a passionate team dedicated to animal health and well-being. Duties Greet clients warmly, answer inquiries, and schedule appointments efficiently using veterinary software systems. Collect payments, process medical billing, and handle medical collections with professionalism and accuracy. Manage client records, update pet information, and ensure compliance with Veterinary Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) regulations and USDA standards. Support veterinary staff by preparing treatment rooms Coordinate communication between clients and veterinary teams regarding treatment plans, follow-up care, and medication instructions. Help maintain kennel areas, exam rooms and office areas
Skills:
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners. Ability to perform basic office tasks including documentation and correspondence Have a positive attitude, be a team player, be able to handle a fast pace work environment and multi task Join us in making a difference in the lives of pets and their owners! $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
