Job Description
Vibe Dance + Fitness Studio is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk & Studio Assistant to join our team for the 2026-2027 season! This position is perfect for someone who loves working with people, enjoys being part of a fun and energetic environment, and is highly organized and comfortable multitasking. A background in dance is a plus, but not required! The desk staff works in the afternoons, typically starting at 3:30 p.m. so it would be perfect as a second job - or after school and classes! Responsibilities Open the studio and prepare the space for the day Complete light cleaning and general studio setup Greet dancers, families, instructors, and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner Monitor the front desk and answer questions from families and visitors Respond to phone calls, emails, and other general inquiries Assist families with general studio information, schedules, registration, and other questions Help keep the front desk, lobby, and studio areas organized and presentable Assist with costume ordering, organization, distribution, and related administrative tasks Assist with various day-to-day administrative tasks as needed Support studio events, registration periods, recital preparation, and other special activities throughout the season Qualifications & Skills Friendly, positive, and professional demeanor Excellent organization and attention to detail Reliable and able to work independently Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable interacting with children, parents, and staff Comfortable learning and using new software and technology - Google Suite + Jackrabbit Dance background or familiarity with the dance world is a plus Experience with social media, content creation, Canva, or other marketing tools is also a plus Previous administrative, customer service, childcare, or studio experience is a plus A love of dance and familiarity with the dance studio environment is a bonus, but a great attitude, strong organizational skills, and willingness to learn are most important.
