< back to job board Receptionist/Administrator Overview Location Leominster Date posted August 14, 2026 Job type Full-time Description We are currently seeking a Receptionist/Administrator to join our client in Leominster, Herefordshire. This is a temp to perm position, offering full time working hours and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the patient experience.
What you can expect:
Salary:
£13.45 per hour
Hours:
Monday to Thursday 8am - 4pm, Friday 10:30am - 6:30pm with a 30minute lunch break (37.5 hours per week) A supportive team environment with training provided Opportunities to assist across different administrative functions What you will be doing: Welcoming and assisting patients, providing a friendly and professional first point of contact Managing appointment bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling as required Handling patient inquiries, both in person and over the phone, and directing them to the appropriate healthcare professionals Maintaining patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality Handling administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and general office support Collaborating with healthcare staff to facilitate a seamless patient experience What we are looking for: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail Prior administration experience advantageous Proficiency in using office software and computer systems Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently Empathy and patience when dealing with patients Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role is a plus but not required
