Kennel Technician/Receptionist

• Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn and adapt to new processes.
• Possess clear and concise written and oral communication skills.
• Be a self-starter who can recognize tasks and complete them without hand holding.
• Handling dogs in a controlled manner on leash, and in a pack.
• Ensuring the kennel facility is cleaned multiple times a day ensuring a clean environment for our guests.
• Feeding and dispensing medication per customer instructions on in-take sheet.
• Communicating issues or concerns with our guests to the manager, or if asked, have the ability to clearly communicate with owners.
• Daycare yard maintenance such as, but not limited to, scooping and disposing of waste, filling in holes dug by our guests, maintaining clean and fresh water buckets in yards throughout the day.
• During the summer maintaining ensuring each yard has clean pools for cooling.

Professional experience in this field preferred, but will train the right person. Owning your own dog or occasionally pet sitting is not considered professional experience.
