QUALIFICATIONS
Must pass pre-employment physical examination (New Employees). Ability to perform the duties of the position. Must be able to speak, write, and translate Spanish or Portuguese. Multi languages Must take and pass a Massachusetts criminal background check (New Employees).
CENTRAL ADMINISTRATION
- Receptionist Administration Interpreter
DEFINITION
Position is responsible for providing administrative, clerical, and translation support to the Superintendent's Office, and greeting and providing information to students, parents and visitors. (
School Year Hours:
8am-4pm) (Summer and vacation hours:7am-3pm)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The essential functions or duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various type of work that may be performed. Provides clerical and administrative support to the Superintendent's office, including answering phones, copying and processing mail; Provides translation services for students, parents, visitors, as well as other translation needs of the District. Must be able to speak, write, and translate Spanish or Portuguese. Multi languages preferred. Maintain a clean and welcoming reception space Notify departments when they have a visitor Answer phones and direct calls Greet students, parents and visitors and direct to appropriate staff Maintain copy machines and supplies Accepts deliveries Perform special projects as needed; Provides clerical assistance to other departments Performs other related duties as required.
