Receptionist Town of Sharon•3.8 Sharon, MA Job Details Part-time $23.99•$24.47 an hour 23 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication High school diploma or GED Driver's License Full Job Description The Town of Sharon is seeking a compassionate, customer-focused part-time (12 hours/week) Receptionist & Program Aide to provide exceptional service to older adults and visitors at the Sharon Adult Center. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of community members while working in a welcoming, mission-driven environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, participants, and callers. Provide information and referrals regarding programs, services, transportation, and community resources. Register participants for programs, activities, and special events. Assist with transportation scheduling and related administrative tasks. Maintain records, enter data, and perform general clerical duties. Support program setup, special events, and volunteer activities. Help create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all Adult Center participants. Work Schedule (12 hours/week):
Tuesday:
2:00 p.m.•5:00 p.m.
Wednesday:
2:00 p.m.•5:00 p.m.
Thursday:
3:00 p.m.•6:00 p.m.
Friday:
9:30 a.m.•12:30 p.m.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous administrative, receptionist, customer service, or office experience preferred. Experience working with older adults, volunteers, or in a human services setting is a plus. Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide excellent customer service. Valid Massachusetts Driver's License required. CORI check required.
Starting Salary Range:
$23.9871•$24.4669 per hour with annual increases. This is a non-benefitted position. How to
