The door monitor will greet visitors and allow entry to the building by utilizing safety check-in protocols and the Raptor System. Additionally, they will support the administrative assistant in other related tasks in the main office.Responsibilities :
Assist in the arrival and dismissal of students Monitor the doors and visitor pass program Manage and report any emergency situations to ensure a safe school environment. Greet visitors and register them properly Manage and report any emergency situations Manage any other responsibilities designated by thePrincipal Qualifications Required:
High School Diploma or GED Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with students, families, staff, visitors, and members of the public. Ability to follow established safety, security, and confidentiality procedures. Ability to exercise sound judgment and remain calm and professional in emergency or high-pressure situations.Preferred:
Previous experience working in a school or educational setting. Experience working with children or adolescents. Experience in reception, customer service, security, or a related field. Proficiency in a second language. Familiarity with visitor management or school information systems.Physical Demands:
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, operate a computer, hand-held learning devices and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
