Job Description

Join the Vantage West Springfield Team! The receptionist is responsible for providing general office support with a variety of clerical activities including but not limited to customer service, answering and directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution and requisition of supplies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Answers and directs the callers to the appropriate associates directing to voicemail and taking messages when required. Greets and directs visitors to the company. Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website, and other related information. Receives sorts and forwards incoming mail. Maintains and routes publications. Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.) Assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies. May also assist with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing and collating. Applies "5 Star" customer service approach in all aspects of job. Actively supports Bear Mountain commitment to providing "5 Star" service on all quality objectives, with an emphasis on continual improvement. Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and standards of conduct. Reports to the appropriate managers any known or suspected violations of policy and procedures, regulations or standards of conduct. Performs additional duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience and/or training preferred Strong organizational skills required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must possess exceptional interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments. Ability to work with Microsoft Office and other software programs. Demonstrated keyboarding skills required.
