Job Description

We are looking for a Rock Star Front Desk Receptionist to manage our front desk on a daily basis (Mon, Tues, Wed) and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company. Our Receptionist's duties include answering phones, processing incoming and outgoing mail. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. You will coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence , scanning mail/documents and redirecting phone calls. To be successful as a Receptionist, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. Responsibilities Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email Receive, sort, scan and distribute daily mail/deliveries Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk Skills Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role Answer busy multi-line phone system Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers, postage meter) Professional appearance with a positive attitude Solid written and verbal communication skills Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise Excellent organizational skills Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks Customer service attitude High school degree or GED required. Must be organized. Computer experience a must.
Hours are:
Monday 9 am - 5 pm, Tuesday, Wednesday 9 am - 2:30 pm with the ability to be flexible to work on Thursday/Friday or extended hours if needed.
