Experience on the water is not necessary, but definitely a bonus! Responsibilities Answering phones Taking reservations Helping guest fill out all necessary rental paperwork. Administering a state mandated Jet Ski Quiz for drivers. Manage check - ins & time efficiently. to ensure tours start promptly and run smoothly within scheduled ride times. Demonstrate leadership by guiding groups confidently, especially during challenging situations or emergencies helping guest pick proper life vests. Communicating with outside guides to ensure tours start promptly and run smoothly within scheduled ride times. Qualifications Excellent at multitasking and great with numbers. Trustworthy for daily closing operations. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide groups confidently Excellent public speaking and communication skills for clear instructions Prior experience in customer service or teaching roles is highly desirable Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced outdoor environment Knowledge of water safety practices and Jet Ski / Pontoon Boat operation is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Must be a strong swimmer and work well under pressure. You will need to get a Maryland Boating Safety Certificate online. $25 You will need to attend a Maryland Dept. of Natural Resources safety training.
