Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer and electronic-record skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to interact respectfully with individuals experiencing behavioral-health challenges. Ability to organize multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Previous Receptionist, administrative, healthcare, behavioral-health, or customer-service experience preferred. Job Description Position Summary The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for participants, families, visitors, staff, providers, and community partners. The Receptionist provides professional front-desk, communication, scheduling, and administrative support while protecting participant confidentiality and supporting the organization's compliance with applicable Maryland BHA, COMAR, Medicaid, HIPAA, CARF, and organizational requirements . Essential Duties and Responsibilities Front Desk & Participant Services Greet participants, visitors, and staff in a welcoming and professional manner. Answer, screen, and direct telephone calls and messages. Receive visitors and maintain an orderly reception area. Assist participants with check-in and sign-in procedures. Schedule and confirm appointments as directed. Be able to provide general information about program services. Participate in required training and staff meetings. Administrative Support Assist with data entry, scanning, copying, filing, correspondence, and document organization. Receive and route participant documentation to the appropriate staff member. Maintain accurate administrative records and logs. Assist with obtaining and organizing required documentation as directed by authorized staff. Support meetings, groups, workshops, and office activities as assigned. Confidentiality & Compliance Maintain strict confidentiality of participant and organizational information. Follow HIPAA, privacy, security, and records-management requirements. Ensure participant information is not discussed where it can be overheard by unauthorized individuals. Follow Dynamic Counseling Group policies and applicable Maryland behavioral-health requirements. Maintain competency in assigned responsibilities. Communication & Teamwork Communicate respectfully with participants, families, staff, providers, and community partners. Relay messages accurately and promptly. Coordinate with staff when participants require assistance. Support a trauma-informed, person-centered, respectful environment. Maintain professional boundaries at all times.
