Job Description
Job Overview If you're looking for a job that has all the fun of the circus and none of the clowns, this is it! Atlantic Veterinary Care is seeking the right candidate to fill our full time receptionist position (32-38 hours/week). We are looking for someone who is highly organized, efficient, personable and able to multitask. Prior medical experience is preferred, but we will train the right person. This position has the opportunity to take on added management duties. Opportunity to cross train as a Veterinary Assistant. Pay $17.00-$24.00 per hour; negotiable based on experience Responsibilities Greet clients and their pets upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional atmosphere. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently. Maintain accurate patient records and handle medical record collection processes. Handle payments. Provide information on services, procedures, and pet care to clients. Assist with animal restraint during examinations or treatments as needed. Handle laboratory samples with aseptic techniques and adhere to safety protocols. Manage inventory of supplies related to pet care and clinic operations. Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth clinic operations and high-quality patient care.
