Job Overview:
Opportunity available for a part-time clerk/receptionist at a fast-paced law firm. The ideal candidate will prioritize client confidentiality, demonstrate reliability, possess keen attention to detail, and thrive in a public-facing role. While legal office experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. Join our team and contribute to our professional environment today!Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer and direct phone calls using a multi-line phone system
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
- Provide general support to visitors and staff
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role preferred
- Proficient in using office equipment such as copiers, scanners, and fax machines
- Knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus
- Familiarity with medical office procedures is an asset
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
- Proficient in proofreading documents for spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
