• Job Overview We are seeking a committed and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our dedicated LAH veterinary team! In this vital role, you will be the friendly face and efficient coordinator at the front desk, ensuring smooth communication between clients, their pets, and our veterinary staff. Your energetic and empathetic approach will help create a welcoming environment for pet owners and their beloved animals while managing administrative tasks with precision. If you thrive in occasionally fast-paced settings, possess customer service skills, and have a passion for animal care, this is the perfect opportunity to make a positive impact in our community of pet lovers. Duties Greet clients and their pets warmly, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience from check-in to check-out Manage appointment scheduling using veterinary software, coordinating with veterinary professionals to optimize daily operations Handle medical collections accurately, processing payments efficiently Maintain records of client interactions, medical histories, and treatment plans in compliance with regulations Communicate effectively with clients regarding pet care instructions, medication schedules, and upcoming appointments (Training Included) Preferred, not required: Experience in veterinary clinic administration or front desk support within a veterinary setting Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and medical-surgical procedures Familiarity with veterinary software systems and applications for record keeping and communication Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration; some experience in customer service is preferred Join us in delivering outstanding pet care by providing exceptional administrative support that keeps our clinic running smoothly!
