Position:
As the Front Desk Associate, you will report to the Front Desk Manager, and be the first point of service when guests are checking in. You will be providing spectacular service, maintaining a crisp and clean work area, and working with a fun and fast-paced team. To be successful in this position, you will need to have a strong passion for hospitality, be able to work well as a team, and have excellent communication skills. Schedule:
The Front Desk Associates are scheduled 8-hour shifts and can vary between 7:00 am through 11:00 pm.
Responsibilities:
Providing a warm and friendly welcoming to all arriving guests. Assist with guests' questions, concerns, and following up to ensure best service. Updating reservations and packages using computer software when needed. Taking cash and card payments accurately. Communicating effectively with other resort departments as needed. Properly logging maintenance needs and following up on completion. Answering phones while multi-tasking and transferring calls to correct locations. Keeping guests and employees' safety and security as priority and communicating with security when needed. More duties as required.
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to work the entire peak season, starting May 1st and ending October 1st. Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Have reliable transportation. Excellent computer and communication (written and verbal) skills. Able to lift or carry up to 30 lbs. and stand for duration of shift. Capable of multi-tasking and following directions.
