Veterinary Clinic Receptionist Part-Time or Full-Time | Hamilton Veterinary Clinic We're looking for a friendly, compassionate, and dependable Veterinary Receptionist to join our team! If you love animals, enjoy helping people, and thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment, we'd love to hear from you. About the Position As the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, our receptionist plays an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience. You'll work closely with our veterinary team to keep the front desk running smoothly while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Greet clients and their pets warmly and professionally Answer phones, schedule appointments, and respond to client questions Check clients in and out and process payments Maintain accurate client and patient records Communicate with veterinarians, technicians, and other team members Assist with prescription and food requests Provide compassionate support to clients during routine and stressful visits Keep the reception area organized, clean, and welcoming Handle general administrative and clerical duties What We're Looking For Previous veterinary, medical, or customer service experience is preferred but not required Excellent communication and customer service skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Dependable, organized, and able to multitask A positive attitude and willingness to learn Comfortable working around dogs and cats Ability to remain calm and compassionate in emotional situations Veterinary reception experience is a plus! $13.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 - 40.0 per week
