Scheduling Assistant, Temporary Schedule :
40 hours per week | Monday
  • Friday, 8:30am
  • 4pm This is a temporary position expected to start April 20th and last for an average of 12 weeks.

Join us as a temporary employee and bring your warmth and skills to Thome PACE! The Specialty Scheduling Assistant is responsible for obtaining and processing information and paperwork for our participants specialty appointments. 00 / hour Reporting To Feena Swaenepoel Key Responsibilities Track participant attendance to every specialty appointment. Obtain Medical Records from each attended specialty appointment. Track authorizations and requests for any subsequent test, appointments or procedures while working closely with PACE PCPs and Transportation. Enter participant appointment details using computerized systems accurately and efficiently. Independently resolves scheduling conflicts for participant's specialty appointments. Call participants to inform and remind them and family/guardian of appointment date and time. Process necessary paperwork for specialty appointments. Document required information in EMR. Fills in for Receptionist as needed. The above is a summary of the position, it in no way states or implies that these are the only duties this position will be required to perform. If selected for the position you will receive a full job description Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Must be 18 years of age or older. Minimum of one (1) year working with the frail, elderly or long-term care population. Requires proficient knowledge of Microsoft Windows programs such as Word and Excel. Scheduling experience, preferred. Knowledge of Medical Terminology is very beneficial. Requires the ability to function in a multi-task, fast paced environment.
