In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for our business. You will welcome walk-in visitors, manage incoming phone calls, and provide excellent customer service. Additionally, when time allows, you will handle essential clerical and administrative tasks to support our daily office operations.
Job Details Status :
Part-time Schedule :
24-30 hours per week, scheduled between 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through
Friday Hourly Rate :
Negotiable based on experience Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Front Desk Greet visitors : Welcome walk-in customers warmly, determine their needs, and direct them to the appropriate person or department. Answer phones : Pick up incoming calls promptly, answer questions, take detailed messages, or transfer callers as needed. Provide information : Share accurate details about company services, business hours, and basic procedures. Resolve issues : Listen attentively to customer inquiries or concerns and offer helpful solutions. Clerical & Administrative (As Time Allows) Manage files : Organize, scan, and file digital or paper documents to maintain accurate records. Data entry : Input customer details, invoices, or project notes into the computer system. Handle mail : Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages, and prepare outgoing mail. Support teams : Assist other departments with basic paperwork, typing, or organizational tasks during downtime.
Skills and Qualifications Communication :
Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients on the phone and in person.
Multitasking :
Ability to efficiently switch between answering phones, greeting visitors, and completing administrative tasks.
Organization :
High attention to detail for handling data entry, filing systems, and paperwork. Technical skills : Proficiency with basic computer programs, including email, word processing, and data entry tools.
Professionalism :
A warm, patient, and positive attitude when representing the company.
