Job Description

AII Medicine is a private internal medicine practice in Roseville serving patients of all ages. We are looking for a dependable Front Desk Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients and keep our front office running smoothly. Full training on our systems and workflows is provided.
What you will do:
Greet and check patients in and out, verify demographics and insurance at every visit Collect copays and outstanding balances and reconcile the day's payments Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments and manage recalls and no-show follow-up Answer and route calls on a multi-line phone system and return patient calls promptly Verify eligibility and benefits and obtain referrals or prior authorizations as directed Scan and index labs, records, and correspondence into the chart Handle forms, faxes, and medical records requests and keep the reception area clean and stocked What we are looking for: One year or more of front desk or patient-facing administrative experience in a medical office Working knowledge of insurance types, copays, deductibles, and eligibility verification Comfort with electronic health records and general computer use Strong communication skills, dependable attendance, and a professional appearance Understanding of HIPAA and a firm commitment to patient confidentiality High school diploma or equivalent Preferred but not required: eClinicalWorks experience Primary care or internal medicine background Prior authorization and referral experience
Bilingual Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
