Front Desk Receptionist (Part-Time)

Minnetonka, MN Compensation:
$18-$20/hour (based on experience) Tempered Bodywork is a wellness-focused massage studio committed to creating a warm, professional, and healing environment for both clients and staff. We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to support our growing team. We are seeking a team member interested in becoming a long-term part of our practice. Overview The ideal candidate is someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, thrives in a calm yet dynamic environment, and is comfortable managing day-to-day administrative and customer service duties. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist clients with warmth and professionalism Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries Manage scheduling, appointments, and calendar updates using Acuity Scheduling Handle client check-ins and check-outs Process payments (cash, card, online), and manage invoices and receipts Maintain client records, service logs, and studio databases Send appointment reminders, manage cancellations, and coordinate rescheduling Keep the reception area clean and organized Assist with laundry Refill lounge refreshments and maintain a welcoming atmosphere Assist with internal communication and support the therapy team Contribute to occasional promotional tasks, such as flyers, social media, or email newsletters Skills & Qualifications Prior experience in customer service or administrative roles Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience with scheduling software (Acuity preferred) Familiarity with Canva, social media, or basic marketing tools is a plus. Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a calm, organized way Comfortable with basic data entry and payment processing Typing proficiency Knowledge of medical or wellness office protocols is a plus Bilingual fluency is a plus Schedule Monday through Friday, 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM Approx. 25 hours per weekJob Type:
