Job Description

FRONT DESK ADMINISTRATOR
Division Street Dance Division Street Dance is looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk Administrator to join our team! This person will help create a welcoming experience for our dancers and families while supporting the daily operations of our busy dance studio.
Position:
Part-Time Front Desk Administrator Schedule:
Primarily weekday afternoons and evenings, with occasional weekend availability for studio events and performances
Compensation:
Based on experience
Responsibilities:
Greet dancers, parents, visitors, and prospective families with warmth and professionalism Answer phone calls, emails, and general questions about classes, registration, schedules, and studio policies Assist families with enrollment, account updates, payments, and other administrative needs Maintain accurate student and family information in the studio management system Help manage attendance, class rosters, calendars, and studio communications Keep the lobby and front desk areas clean, organized, and welcoming Assist with costume distribution, merchandise sales, special events, performances, and recital preparation Communicate important information to instructors and studio leadership Handle concerns calmly and direct more complex questions to the appropriate staff member Complete additional administrative tasks as needed Our ideal candidate: Is friendly, positive, patient, and comfortable interacting with children and families Is highly organized and able to manage several tasks at once Communicates clearly and professionally in person, over the phone, and through email Is dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Has strong attention to detail and follows through on responsibilities Is comfortable using computers, email, calendars, and online registration or payment systems Maintains professionalism and confidentiality Supports Division Street Dance's values of kindness, community, positivity, growth, and integrity Previous administrative, customer-service, childcare, education, or dance-studio experience is helpful but not required. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
