Job Summary Join our vibrant veterinary team as a Veterinary Receptionist, where your energetic and compassionate approach will be the first point of contact for pet owners and their beloved animals. In this dynamic role, you will manage front desk operations, coordinate appointments, and provide exceptional customer service while supporting the clinical team with administrative tasks. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure a smooth flow of daily clinic activities, creating a welcoming environment for clients and their pets. Responsibilities Greet clients warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and seamless check-in process Schedule appointments efficiently using veterinary software, accommodating urgent cases when necessary Maintain detailed client records, update pet information, and manage correspondence through veterinary administrative support systems Assist with kennel management by coordinating pet drop-offs and pick-ups, ensuring proper animal handling and restraint during check-in/out Communicate effectively with clients regarding pet care instructions, surgical preparations, and follow-up care while demonstrating veterinary terminology knowledge Manage front desk duties such as answering phones, responding to inquiries about companion animal medicine or surgery Experience Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is highly preferred Familiarity with veterinary software systems and Microsoft Office applications for record keeping and communication Knowledge of veterinary terminology, medical-surgical procedures, and laboratory procedures related to companion animals is advantageous Experience in medical collection processes and understanding of veterinary critical care protocols enhances your effectiveness in this role Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients from diverse backgrounds Join us to make a difference in the lives of animals and their owners! Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per week
