Make the first impression count A client's visit starts before the meeting does. It starts with someone who knows they are expected, helps them feel comfortable, and makes sure the right person is ready to see them. As our Receptionist at Solace Ridge, you will be that person. You will welcome visitors, manage calls and appointments, and keep information moving between clients and the office team. This is a role for someone who enjoys meeting people and wants to build professional skills in a business environment where accuracy and discretion matter. Your day at the front desk You will be the first point of contact for many of the people who call or visit the office.
Your work will include:
Greeting clients and visitors, confirming their appointments, and letting colleagues know when they arrive. Answering calls and emails, taking clear messages, and directing questions to the right person. Managing meeting calendars, confirming appointment details, and preparing rooms before guests arrive. Helping clients understand routine next steps, such as where to go, whom they are meeting, or how to provide requested documents. Recording contact details and updates accurately in the office systems. Passing documents and messages to the appropriate team member while handling private information with care. Spotting schedule changes or unanswered requests and following up before they create confusion. You will work closely with colleagues across the office, so you will get to see how appointments, client communication, and financial administration fit together. You will not be expected to give financial advice or answer questions that belong with a qualified team member. Good judgment includes knowing when to bring someone else into the conversation. A place to build your skills You might have worked at a reception desk before, or you might bring experience from hospitality, retail, a campus office, or another busy setting where people relied on you. You do not need a finance degree to get started. What will help you succeed is a warm, professional manner, clear communication, and the ability to stay organized when the phone rings while a visitor is arriving. You should be comfortable learning a calendar and office system, checking details before you pass them on, and treating confidential information responsibly. As you learn the office processes, you can build experience in scheduling, client communication, and coordination across a professional team. If you want a people-focused role that gives you room to grow your business skills, we would like to hear from you. Apply with your resume and tell us about a time you helped someone feel welcome or kept a busy day organized.
