Must be able to work at least 3-4 shifts per week consistently.

NEEDED SHIFTS

Weekday Evenings Weekend Mornings Weekend Evenings 8:30 am - 2:30 pm 2:30 pm - 8:30 pm (sometimes until 9:00 pm)

GENERAL DUTIES

Welcoming customers in a happy, genuine, and positive way. Educating and selling potential customers on services and pricing. Opening duties and preparing the space for customers: filling oil diffuser, vacuuming, setting up saunas, starting laundry, setting music & lights, etc. Refreshing saunas; wiping down the inside of sauna with wood cleaner, removing any hair, cleaning glass & shower, prepping room for next customer, etc.

Cleaning duties:

continuing laundry to keep fresh linen stocked, cleaning mugs and water bottles used in saunas and studio, etc.

Owning the space:

help keep the lobby and all areas clean in general; being proactive about solving problems or bringing awareness to them. Closing duties. We have systems for everything we do at Sweatheory and you must be able to adhere to certain details and methods of completing tasks to ensure everything is consistent & quality. When you enter Sweatheory KC, it is a peaceful, calming, and welcoming atmosphere, and that is what we strive for. We want someone who can smile at every customer and be genuinely kind to those that enter. While this seems like a comfortable, relaxing job -- it gets hectic at times, primarily when checking people in for class. We want someone who can keep their cool and make it through the busy parts to the calm that follows. Pay starts at $17.50/hr.
