Position Summary:
As a Receptionist/Education Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our members, both in-person and over the phone. Your primary responsibilities include answering and routing calls, greeting, and assisting members, and providing support with various education and association services.
What will you be doing:
Answer Calls :
Provide superior customer service, routing calls to the appropriate individuals.
Greet Visitors :
Welcome members and visitors, assisting or directing them as needed.
Handle Inquiries :
Field questions and direct them to the appropriate contacts. Assist with
Lockboxes :
Lease, program, and assign lockboxes to members, and provide backup support.
Sales Support :
Ring up store sales and manage daily cash box.
Education Support :
Assist with educational classes/trainings, verifying member credentials for classes, along with providing members with completion certificates after they successfully pass the class.
General Support :
Assist other staff members with miscellaneous projects as needed.

Qualifications:
Education/Experience :
GED or High School Diploma.
Language Ability :
Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees.
Mathematical Ability :
Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Compute rate, ratio and percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability :
Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills :
Proficient in Microsoft Office and proprietary software.

Location :
The primary location for this role will be at our Northland office. There may be instances where travel to our Leawood location is required for Front Desk Coverage for the day.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week 8:00a.m. - 4:30p.m.
