Veterinary Receptionist

Role Description Candidates must be able to work evening shifts until 6pm and some Saturdays (8-12). This is a part time, on-site Veterinary Receptionist role located in Lees Summit, MO. The Veterinary Receptionist will handle day-to-day administrative responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, managing client communications, providing education to pet owners, and delivering outstanding customer service. Additionally, this role includes managing incoming calls with professionalism and assisting in maintaining an organized and welcoming front desk environment to support the clinic's operations. Qualifications Strong skills in Appointment Scheduling and Phone Etiquette to manage client bookings and communication effectively Excellent Client Education and Communication skills for informing pet owners about their pets' needs and providing empathetic support Basic understanding of Animal Care to assist in tasks related to pet health and clinic support Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Experience working in a veterinary or animal care environment is advantageous High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in veterinary assistance or customer service are a plus Company Description We are a walk-in only, 5-doctor veterinary practice located in Lees Summit, MO.
