This position will be responsible for assisting the Administrators of Field Operations in overseeing and coordinating various field operations work including construction, maintenance, pipeline, service, operational training when required, and assisting the management administration of company policy, procedures, and coordinating the daily operation of the Region. Supervisory Responsibilities + Responsible for direct management of up to 30 contract employees related to Spire's corrosion control field operations in Missouri. (Current responsibilities are the direct management of 10+ field employees located across Spire) + Support and develop their team in order to improve their level of operational and customer service skills to ensure the safe operation of the distribution system and to continually improve the level of customer service that we provide. + Responsible for continually motivating the members of the team to improve the level of safety awareness to achieve success with all the business unit and corporate safety goals and initiatives. Required Education (certifications, licenses) + High school diploma/ GED + Valid Missouri Class E License required or the issuing state's equivalent and the ability to drive safely and accident free. Required knowledge, skill and abilities + 1-3 years of corrosion control field or similar experience including cathodic protection monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting (required) + Field experience in natural gas pipeline system protection or maintenance (preferred) + Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Enterprise software applications (required) + Knowledge of pipeline corrosion control theory and methods (required) + 2 years of field experience in the performance of physical duties is (preferred) + Knowledge of the policies, procedures, standards and OQ requirements. + Knowledge of human resources, collective bargaining agreement and personnel procedures. Physical demands, environment and schedule + A mix of normal office conditions, outdoors exposed to all weather conditions, in construction areas with uneven surfaces and in areas exposed to loud audible noises + 20% travel to include occasional overnight and frequent field sites visit Posting Requirements - We accept online applications through our career site at jobs.spireenergy.
