Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and organized Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our fast paced small business. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations by providing exceptional customer service, support administrative functions to ensure smooth daily activities, and assist the groomers with daily cleaning and dog walking. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a positive first impression for visitors, clients, and team members alike. This paid position offers an opportunity to work with animals in a non corporate environment with an atmosphere that is friendly, and co-workers that have a great team mentality. Responsibilities Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression and guiding them appropriately Manage phone calls and bookings efficiently and professionally using proper phone etiquette Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, mail, and packages with accuracy and timeliness Maintain software systems and daily cash drawer countdowns/deposits Support grooming staff with daily cleaning Walking dogs throughout the day to relieve themselves Cleaning up accidents Calculating and reporting payroll Prior roles as a front desk receptionist are advantageous but not required Keeping track of inventory and placing orders when needed. Running errands as needed Keeping the boss on track (this one is important!)
