Role Description The Receptionist is a full-time, on-site role located in Baldwyn, MS, serving as the first point of contact for clients and visitors. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting clients, answering and directing phone calls, scheduling appointments, and checking patients in and out. The role also involves managing client records, processing payments, handling basic clerical tasks such as filing and data entry, and coordinating with veterinary staff to support efficient patient flow. The Receptionist ensures a positive client experience by providing clear information, maintaining a clean and organized reception area, and responding to questions or concerns in a professional and courteous manner. Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and empathetically with clients in person and over the phone. Proficiency in receptionist duties and clerical skills, including appointment scheduling, record management, filing, and basic data entry. Demonstrated phone etiquette, including polite call handling, message taking, and accurate call routing. Basic computer skills and familiarity with office software or practice management systems. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Reliability, attention to detail, and a professional demeanor. Comfort working around animals and collaborating with veterinary staff. High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in a veterinary or medical office, or in a receptionist role, is preferred but not required.
Pay:
$13.00 - $15.00 per hour
