Dermatology Front Desk Receptionist
Job Description
- Front Desk Receptionist
Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Maintain patient records and update information in the system
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing inquiries
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure timely check-in and check-out
- Collect copays/coinsurance/deductible at time of check-out
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized reception area
Experience:
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Google Chrome, minimum typing speed of 25 wpm.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide excellent patient service
- Upbeat, positive attitude
- Must commit to full-time schedule (35-40 hours/week)
- Must be reliable and able to take constructive feedback
- Possess organizational skills and be detail-oriented
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing inquiries
- Possess fundamental math and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology is a plus We offer competitive pay and benefits for this position.

Full-time Pay:
From $13.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0- 40.
