What you'll get: Referral Bonus Access to our Employee Assistance Network Givens Highland Farms a leading continuing care retirement community in Black Mountain, is hiring a PRN Receptionist for our Health Care Center. The primary purpose of your position is to create a positive first impression as the public's initial point of contact with Highland Farms and to ensure efficient, accurate communication of routine and emergency information by answering incoming telephone calls promptly, transferring calls, screening calls (when requested), distributing information, and paging for personnel as required by the context of the call; greeting visitors and vendors and directing them as to appropriate areas and/or personnel. The schedule for this position is: Monday-Wednesday 4:30PM to 8:30PM. What you'll do: Support efficient community communication by receiving and sorting incoming staff and resident mail Maintains elopement registry and support resident safety objectives by monitoring resident movement within her/his view Complete and submit maintenance work orders to the Facilities Services department Update healthcare resident's numbers in the master list and make door labels for new residents Assist residents as requested, while remaining within scope of position Support resident care/treatment plans by creating and maintaining mailing lists with physician names, printing labels as needed to mail reports and physician orders, etc Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor What you'll need: High School Education or GED equivalent is preferred Experience with Microsoft Word & Excel Experience with Multi-Line phone system Compensation is $18.00 per hour and includes some great benefits!
